The Pagoda Forest, within easy walking distance of the Shaolin Temple, is here used by Master Xing Du and some of his students for Kung Fu exercises and instruction. The Pagoda Forest at the Shaolin Temple is also used by Kung Fu students from neighbouring schools, to demonstrate their Kung Fu skills to visitors. There is always a special relationship between a Kung Fu Master and his students. The youngest student of Kung Fu shown in these photos is just over four years old. He follows the example set by the older students of Kung Fu but is also given personal tuition by his Master.

Travelling to the Shaolin Temple site entrance by minibus takes about 15 minutes, but there are plenty of taxies available in Dengfeng. At the park entrance you either walk to the Shaolin Temple or take an electric shuttle-bus.
