Pictures Of Buddhist Monk, Li Jin Long, in Ming Dynasty Hall at the Shaolin Temple.
**
**
The foot of a Buddhist Monk increases a depression in the brick floor of a Ming Dynasty Hall, at the Shaolin Temple. The depression was caused not by the foot of one Buddhist Monk, but by the feet of many Buddhist Monks over the centuries. The Qian Fu Dian is one of only two buildings which survived a devastating fire at the Shaolin Temple in 1928 under the direction of General Shi You Shan. On the walls of the Hall are Frescoes showing "500 People Together Worshipping The Buddha."
Li Jin Long demonstrates the way a Buddhist Monk would perform a particular Kung Fu exercise. The Buddhist Monk would end the exercise by forcefully stamping the floor with his foot. Li Jin Long's movements were too swift to follow with the camera, so the first and last photo of the series are posed photos. By his facial expressions one can see how much energy and effort a Buddhist Monk applies to his Kung Fu exercises. The first Buddhist Monk to stamp his foot at this particular position, would not have known the effect each succeeding Buddhist Monk would have helped to create.

| Travelling to the Shaolin Temple site entrance by minibus takes about 15 minutes, but there are plenty of taxies available in Dengfeng. At the park entrance you either walk to the Shaolin Temple or take an electric shuttle-bus. |

| There are pictures of vegetables in Jinghong, China, and in Hanoi, Vietnam, and pictures of vegetables from other markets in China. Vegetables sold in both these countries always appeared fresh, and the customers picked and and chose the ones they wanted. |
 |
| There are pictures of vegetarian food from a restaurant attached to the Buddhist Abbey in Guilin and from a Chinese restaurant near the International Hotel in Beijing. With some careful thought, becoming vegetarian means that meals can still be as attractive and as tasty as any other meals, with which you are accustomed. |
