Shaolin Temple Pictures Of Monks In Buddhist Robes.
During October and November 2003, the Shaolin Temple was the venue for a series of 49 Buddhist ceremonies. 49 different Abbots came to the Shaolin Temple from 49 different Buddhist Temples to conduct the Buddhist ceremonies on 49 different days. The purpose of the Buddhist ceremonies at the Shaolin Temple was to raise funds to support orphaned children and poor people. The Mantra incantations in the Buddhist ceremonies were performed by the Shaolin Temple Monks, dressed in their Buddhist Robes.
During the Buddhist ceremonies, Disciples of the visiting Abbots assembled outside the Shaolin Temple doors to join in the incantations. At the end of the ceremonies at the Shaolin Temple Master Xing Du gathered an offering of Bread from the Altar of the Buddha. The Bread was placed on the Incense Burner outside the Shaolin Temple, to honor the Spririts Of The Dead.

| Travelling to the Shaolin Temple site entrance by minibus takes about 15 minutes, but there are plenty of taxies available in Dengfeng. At the park entrance you either walk to the Shaolin Temple or take an electric shuttle-bus. |

| There are pictures of vegetables in Jinghong, China, and in Hanoi, Vietnam, and pictures of vegetables from other markets in China. Vegetables sold in both these countries always appeared fresh, and the customers picked and and chose the ones they wanted. |
 |
| There are pictures of vegetarian food from a restaurant attached to the Buddhist Abbey in Guilin and from a Chinese restaurant near the International Hotel in Beijing. With some careful thought, becoming vegetarian means that meals can still be as attractive and as tasty as any other meals, with which you are accustomed. |
